We regret to inform you that Mo-Mo-Paradise Kabukicho Honten will close its doors on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, after 33 years of business. To express our gratitude to all our customers who have supported us, we will be holding a "Final Event" unique to the Kabukicho Honten from Tuesday, September 1, until the final day of operation.
Thank you for 33 years of "welcome back" moments
Mo-Mo-Paradise was founded in 1993 in Shinjuku's Kabukicho, right after the bubble economy collapsed, as a revitalization measure for a struggling restaurant. It started with a groundbreaking price of 1,500 yen for all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu and sukiyaki, and although it was initially planned for only six months, it received overwhelming support from many customers, including students and office workers, and became one of our core brands.
The restaurant, which was loved as "a place where you can eat real food to your heart's content at a low price," was supported by the voices of individual customers who said, "I want to come again." This accumulation of support has built the Kabukicho Honten that it is today.
From its origins to the world – 33 years of gratitude
The spirit nurtured at Kabukicho Honten expanded its brand presence within Japan to "Mo-Mo-Paradise" and "Nabézo," and from the latter half of the 2000s, it expanded overseas to Taiwan, Thailand, China, Southeast Asia, and the United States. In 2016, Kabukicho Honten underwent a major renovation, continuing to evolve as a hub for welcoming customers from both Japan and abroad. In 2020, the brand name was unified globally as "Mo-Mo-Paradise," and with the desire to "continue to evolve" (More & More), it grew into a global brand.
Even now, in 2026, with over 80 stores in 8 overseas regions, Kabukicho Honten remains the origin of the brand, continuing to be a part of many customers' memories.
33 years of thanks, in one hot pot. Final event held
